Shade//Shifter V0.1
Welcome to the first release of Shade//Shifter! We've had this build in the backpocket for a little while now, but decided to publicly release the first playable version so that players could get a better idea of how the process here at Daydream works.
In this build we've implemented the very basis of our gameplay which includes
- The first encounterable enemy type in the game (probably too many of them, if we're being honest)
- The main mechanic - the shift!
- A map that changes as the player shifts
This is a very, very, early access build. In fact, as I'm typing this, the team is working on design changes based on the results of playtests, updating the art and guns currently available, and polishing the project overall for the next early release. Please feel free to play this early build of our project, and provide feedback in the comments! We'd love to hear about what you think of the game, and hope that you follow us along the development journey!
